September 2012

Our ponies receive an MOT every spring and autumn. Here Morayelphin Eassie and her 5 month old filly foal, Morayelphin Monega, get wormed and a tidy up.

April 2012

A bit early for a foal, but the end of March brought us a new filly foal. She is out of Morayelphin Eassie (Atholl Tilt X Glenbanchor Canna) by our younger stallion, Sunny of Craigieloch (Edindurno Benromach X Kola of Whitefield). Quite a poignant filly, as her lovely grandmother, Kola, sadly passed away earlier this year. Our new additon is Morayelphin Monega (stable name, Nancy).

Our stallion, Blacklaw, has been enjoying going out for a hack in the good weather

Lucy Riddell of Chesthill Backing and Training Yard, Glen Lyon has very kindly sent photos of our 5 yo Stallion, Blacklaw undergoing some ridden work. Lucy reports he has been safe, sane and enjoying his working holiday with her. Many thanks to Lucy and her mum.

We had our yearling filly, Folda, out at the recent Winter Fair held in Stirling Mart. A good turnout of ponies, 12 in our class alone. Folda came an honourable 6th out of a very strong class of yearlings.
